Dermaplaning Facials

Dermaplaning is manual exfoliation of dead skin cells and removes surface debris as well as "peach fuff" (vellus hair) with a custom dermaplaning blade.
With the use of a sterile surgical scapel, the blade is used to gently 'shave' the surface of the skin, removing the top-most layer of skin. It does not cause the hair to grow back thicker or darker.

Dermaplaning can be used for all skin types except those with acenic skin. If you suffer from deep cystic acne, you must wait until the breakouts are cleared before undergoing this treatment. Dermaplaning is safe whilst pregnant or breastfeeding, as there are no harsh chemicals absorbing into the bloodstream.

Dermaplaning is a painless procedure. Your skin will be cleansed and dried thoroughly. Then preped with alpha and beta-hydroxy acids (AHA/BHA) formula to effectively degrease the skin and the exfoliation process can begin. Each area of the face will be pulled taut whilst with the sterile blade, short, shift strokes scrape off dead skin cells and peach fuzz (vellus hair).
After this process, a Natural Enzyme peel will be applied to finish off your dermplaning exfoliation treatment. The cool gel is applied to freshly dermaplaned skin which liquifies as it is gently massaged to the face. The fruit enzymes gently sever the protein bonds causing dead skin cells to bead up.
